Languages in Western Europe can be split into three catagories, Latin Based, Galic Based, and a mix between the two. Languages like French and English are both latin based languages and share many characteristics, root words, and flase conjugates such as crayon meaning crayon in Eglish and crayon meaning pencil in French. Languages like Dutch and German are both Galic languages come from the gaulic tribes that lived in the majority of western Europe. However Luxembourgish is a mixetween the two root languages, and shares some words and roots with French and some words and roots with Dutch and German.
